A number of years ago while leaning Windows C++ programming, I wrote the Statistical Tables program. It was never completed, as may be seen by the buttons that return nothing when clicked. I did however pretty much complete the distribution section, and since in the intervening years I have seen no other program that covers things so extensively, I have decided to place it on the Web for any interested person to download.

The program contains 42 distributions. For each, in addition to the percentage points and their inverses, there is an extensive help, a plot of the density, a mechanism for generating random values, and various descriptive statistics. As an illustration, the hypergeometric deals with several forms which have non-integer parameters, and the inverse Gaussian makes calculations that heretofore have only appeared in a rather substantial and costly book. .
