Cue Sheet Holder

What is a cue sheet holder? --- A well turned rider!

How about a clothespin and a rubber band?. This is definitely the low cost option, which is really quite attractive when one uses a red plastic clothespin and of course a contrasting green rubber band. The picture, alas, shows the utility model.

Making your own is fun and inexpensive, if you like that sort of thing, which you must since commercial holders are so cheap. For example http://www.cueclip.com/pages/930891/index.htm sells one for $6.95 plus shipping.

A visit to your local stationary store provides lots of attractive goodies. I bought the following at Staples.

This picture shows two double sided Velcro straps, a piece of cardboard, a hanging file folder, and two “Cube Clips” (that’s what they are called, don’t ask me why; some wanker probably got big bucks for dreaming up the name).

One way to use these is to cut a support from the file folder and push the sharp prongs of the clips through the folded edge into the cardboard to make a holder, like the following:

A 5 by 6 inch base seems to work, and does not bump my knees. The inside of the holder is shown below

Needless to say, there are many other ways to combine these materials. By pulling the prongs from the clips and attaching Velcro one has the following materials to play with.

You can wrap the Velcro straps round the bars,

stick the clips to the straps, and voila!

Have fun.
